Venn is a decentralized cybersecurity solution created by Ironblocks, that protects blockchain applications and protocols from malicious transactions and economic risks.

UX UI solo designer, creative lead

Goal
Create an explorer that will provide critical transaction information that are Venn-specific relevant to security, and selected data points to different personas.
Achieving market adoption in a competitive landscape, accumulating trust in an environment where security is paramount, and overcoming technical hurdles in integrating with various blockchain protocols.

My Proccess
As a solo designer, I needed to create a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for the explorer, that aligns with the needs of different user personas, each with distinct requirements and workflows, and aligns with business goals.

Different Projects operate within the blockchain ecosystem, focusing on different niches, such as collaboration, scalability, security, decentralized finance (DeFi), and innovative consensus models. They target the growing demand for enhanced transaction efficiency, decentralization, and ecosystem connectivity.

Featured User-Flow
The Venn Playground is a core feature of the Venn Testnet Explorer, designed to give protocol developers and community users an interactive experience with Venn’s security framework. By allowing users to experiment with real transactions, the Playground fosters trust in Venn’s capabilities and accelerates integration with DeFi protocols.

IDEATE
Wireframing
Using gamification elements such as earning badges or success messages and a clear progress bar to motivate users to complete all steps, encourages learning and prompts further exploration into the Explorer.


UX Challenges

Layout challenge: To prevent accidental skipping, the layout should not remain left-to-right (description on the left, functional space on the right) for consistency, but should be placed underneath to continue the flow without friction.

Create seamless Navigation: Ensuring users can intuitively move through Playground steps and substeps.

Frictionless wallet connection: If a user is on the wrong chain, instead of just an alert, provide a “Switch Chain” button for a seamless fix.
